Bradley is the deuteragonist of Stickin' Around. He is voiced by Ashley Brown.

YTV.com's Description[]

Just so you know, Stacy Stickler is a GIRL, and she's my FRIEND, but she's NOT my GIRLFRIEND.

Lance and Russell said she was, and I told 'em NO SHE ISN'T, and they said if she's not then PROVE IT --- and they made me put a Kleenex in her milk while she wasn't looking, only Mr. Coffin the Principal was standing right behind me and he says, IS THAT THE KIND OF BOY YOU WANT TO BE, and I say No -- I want to be the kind of boy who who can DE-MATERIALIZE into just molecules and transport myself into OTHER DIMENSIONS with just the power of my MIND. I guess he thought I said "DETENTION" -- 'cause I just got done sitting in his office for about NINETEEN HOURS after school, and the whole time I can hear Lance and Russell are outside throwing stuff at the window and laughing 'cause it wasn't even Stacy's milk. I hate those guys sometimes.

Appearance[]

Bradley is a dark-skinned, bespectacled boy with an oval-shaped head, a purple short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans cuffed at the knees, and grey shoes with purple soles. He wears thick-rimmed, coke-bottle glasses, with one of the lenses being distinctly bigger than the other.  He also wears a bright-red baseball cap, of underneath which, he has dyed purple hair, a distinction he has from the rest of the cast.

Personality[]

In contrast to Stacy, Bradley is the more impulsive and lackadaisical of the two.

He enjoys goofing off and living life by his own rules. He would rather spend his time playing video games and reading comic books indoors than doing anything that requires unwanted effort on his part.

Funnily enough, in episodes such as "The Amazing Rubber Guy", "All Washed Up", and "Little Barbershop of Horrors", he's willing to resort to all kinds of convoluted schemes to get out of work, schemes that ironically take more effort on his part than whatever he's avoiding, painting him as much more clever than he lets on.

Bradley also thinks very highly of himself, constantly seeing himself as a beloved and talented hero in imagine spots. However, as shown in episodes such as "The Good, the Bad, and the Bradley", any power handed to him tends to go completely to his head.

In spite of this, he's considered a valued friend to the kids of Latchkey Garden Apartments, with even his bullies, Lance and Russell, being upset by the prospect of him and his family moving away in "Goodbye, Adios, Sayonara Bradley".

Trivia[]

  • His parents are mentioned multiple times through out the show, but they never make an appearance in the series proper.
  • According to an earlier draft of the show, series co-creator Brianne Leary states that Bradley's parents are implied to fight a lot.[2] However, this doesn't seem to be alluded to in the series proper.
  • In the original CBS Shorts and earlier promotional material made before the full series' release, Bradley wore a blue shirt, and green pants.
  • Interestingly enough, Bradley is the only male character shown to be distinctly wearing pants instead of them being implied within his design, a trait he shares with Mr. Lederhosen.
  • Bradley, along with Stacy are the only characters to appear in every episode.

No different than many prime-time sitcoms, it's just a fact that Stacy's parents are divorced and Bradley's parents fight a lot."[2]
