- In some episodes of the show like the short "No Robots For Old Men" for example, Prohyas’s mouth expands out of his head much like the characters from the show in some scenes.
- In the episode "Mushroom Menace", the title card not counting Prohyas, Vambre, Zombie Pumpkin Magisword, the two pumpkins and the title and staff text bears a resemblance to Russell.
- Noville, his slimeball, Goomer and other possible slimeballs’ glasses can possibly resemblance Bradley’s glasses.
- In "Agent of Destruction" Proheeus and Vambray, on purpose misspellings of the shows' two main characters Prohyas and Vambre are stylized like the series.

Rumors speculated that the show was played on "The Three Friends and Jerry Show" on Fox Family Channel (now as Freeform) along with Freaky Stories and The Gogs. It is currently unknown if the show or the shorts were aired.
