Development[]
After working on "Stick Figure Theater" for MTV's Liquid Television, Robin Steele and Brianne Leary began development on an animated TV show for children.
In 1994, Stickin' Around was pitched to CBS as a potential full-length animated series for their Saturday morning cartoon lineup, but was rejected by Judy Price due to scheduling conflicts.

Trivia[]
- The show was ahead of its time, giving the two lead roles to a girl and her friend.
- The show is intentionally drawn crudely to simulate a young child's drawing, and it actually looks very convincing.
- When initially run on Fox Kids in 1997, the show was heavily edited to appease the Fox censors and to make room for commercials. The intro was cut by 15 seconds, references to Pepperoni being dead were removed, etc.
- Rumors speculated that the show was played on "The Three Friends and Jerry Show" on Fox Family Channel (now Freeform) along with Freaky Stories and The Gogs. It is currently unknown if the show or the shorts were aired.
- The show briefly aired on Nickelodeon from October 21-22, 2000.
